About the Project

After a long period of listening, observing, and creating, the Gençliğin Yüzleri project has arrived at Bow’l! 🥣

Led in partnership by the Social Climate Association (Sosyal İklim Derneği) and NDI, the project aimed to amplify the voices of young people ahead of the 2024 local elections.

Policy recommendations shaped by youth in Samsun, İzmir, and Eskişehir were collected and compiled for each of these cities, we designed cover illustrations reflecting both the spirit of young people and the character of the city itself.

This project opens a space to view politics not only through decision-making mechanisms, but also through the dreams, everyday experiences, and future expectations of young people.

Each cover serves as a window into a city’s identity, while also connecting to a shared youth narrative.
